DCA - Looking for These Loops!
Capitol Media & Production Music
Compiled databases of reel images for the Capitol Hi-Q and Media Music lines. Some of these tracks were used in loops at the Disneyland Resort — see the page above for more information!
Have you ever wondered what that synth pop music was playing in the queue for the Autopia? By the way, did you know that a lot of music from the PeopleMover used to play there when it was sponsored by Chevron? And what music played on the PeopleMover anyways? And why on earth did I also hear that same music while waiting at LAX in line for Superstar Limo?
What about those Beach Boys tunes that played in Paradise Pier and sounded like they were all played on an organ? Now that I think of it, I also sure heard a lot of Beach Boys music at Sunshine Plaza, PCH Grill, and Pizza Oom Mow Mow… 🤔
If you have asked yourself these questions, or had a remotely similar thought about music at Disneyland, you’ve come to the right place!
This site was created to house tracklists of background music (“BGM”) from the Disneyland Resort, namely Disneyland Park, Disney(’s) California Adventure, and the Resort hotels. These lists have been posted in forums and blog posts around the internet (see Helpful Sources). I’ve also done quite a bit of research myself, and archived my MouseBits posts on this site. With the help of several knowledgeable and kind friends, I have tried my best to aggregate accurate and validated tracklists in one location for reference purposes.
So with that said, the databases for Disneyland, Disney(’s) California Adventure, the Disneyland Main Gates, the Resort Esplanade, the Resort Hotels, and the Downtown Disney District are all available to peruse. If you prefer not to use the built-in Notion viewer, you can download the databases and explore them offline with your tabular viewer of choice.
First time Notion user? Here’s some tips.
<aside> 📌 The database is sortable, filterable, and searchable. Click around and explore all of the options at the top of a given database. You can select multiple loops at once.

Filter by any piece of information you’d like - land, loop, song artist… etc.
<aside> 📌 If the database isn't appearing, don't fret! There’s a lot of information in these tables, which cause them to take a while to load. If you wait long enough, it should eventually appear.
